Matthew Fletcher
Biography

I have been in pastoral ministry for 30 years, serving churches in Virginia, Nova Scotia, Massachusetts, and New York. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington Bible College (Lanham, MD), a Master of Ministry degree from Briercrest Biblical Seminary (Saskatchewan, Canada), and a Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, Kentucky).

Since 2011 I have served as the Senior Pastor of Webster Bible Church in upstate New York. The Lord has blessed my beautiful wife Ruthie and me with five wonderful children, a terrific son-in-law, two precious grandchildren ... and a Golden Retriever.

I love to read the Bible (first and foremost), biographies, books on theology, history and leadership, plus various blogs and the occasional novel. Some of my favorite pastimes include a daily afternoon coffee break filled with family conversation, taking walks with my wife, playing golf, reading, watching a good movie, and staying connected with family, friends and colleagues.
