As a general rule, I try to keep my blog articles brief enough to be read in a few minutes. Since that’s the case, I thought I would “yield my time” to the President of the United States, who recently delivered his Christmas message to all Americans.
The President’s message was brief and to the point. At the heart of his message were these words:
As Christians everywhere know, the birth of our Lord and Savior changed history forever. At Christmas we give thanks to God, and that God sent His only Son to die for us and to offer everlasting peace to all humanity.
Amen, Mr. President.
The ceremony ended with a regal call to worship, with the orchestra playing and ensemble singing:
O come, let us adore Him!
O come, let us adore Him!
O come, let us adore Him —
Christ the Lord!
