Yesterday a member of our church gave my wife a quiz of random “hard questions” (so called). Here are a few of them:
Is there a Fourth of July in England?
How many outs are there in one inning of a baseball game?
How many animals did Moses take on the ark?
Hopefully you found that these weren’t such “hard questions” after all. Here are the answers, in order:
Yes.
Six.
None.
Let’s consider that little round a warm-up. Now it’s time for a slightly more challenging quiz on Christmas — specifically the Nativity Story. It gets told repeatedly this time of year. But how much of what we hear and pass on to others is an accurate reflection of the biblical record?
There’s a really fun way to find out! Evangelical blogger Tim Challies has put together a list of 25 questions to test our biblical knowledge of the true Christmas story. I had fun taking this quiz and would encourage you to take it yourself, along with your family. You’ll really like it, because after you answer each question, Tim reveals the correct response from Scripture. Have fun, and feel free to post your score in the comments section below (if you dare!).
